Further, when discipleship is lacking, the ministry of helps will be hurting to meet the needs of the church. Most pastors burn the candle at both ends, and that is not always a good thing. Today, we are losing more pastors and churches than ever before. One study shows over 4500 pastors leaving the ministry and about 7000 churches per year closing.
